CDG

(formerly CMMS Data Group) & (now MVP One)
I joined CMMS Data Group as a graphic designer and brand identity specialist, tasked with evolving the company’s existing branding into a fresh, distinctive visual identity that would set it apart in the crowded digital maintenance space.Marketing Director: Jordan Barton

The logo took concepts from the idea that the 3 major facets of maintenence (industrial maintenance, operations, and asset management) are all working with each other. The concept combines their software capabilties with professional reliability engineering services, training, and consulting to move companies from reactive repairs to data-driven proactive maintenance.

Beginning with a thorough audit of the current brand and competitor landscape, I identified opportunities to build a more strategic, memorable identity system, anchored by a redesigned logo that communicates credibility, innovation, and technical precision at a glance.

A strong, scalable logo mark was essential to the company’s growth: it needed to hold up across every touchpoint, from software interfaces and favicons to trade show collateral and sales presentations, while maintaining clarity and consistency at any size. By establishing a cohesive visual language that differentiates CMMS Data Group from its competitors, the new identity strengthened brand recognition, built trust with prospective clients, and gave the company a durable foundation to scale its marketing, product, and market presence with confidence.

CDG’s brand did not only extend to their logo wordmark and some icons, but also all of their following products.

In January 2023, CDG officially consolidated its entire suite of standalone industrial maintenance, operations, and asset management software tools (formerly known as MVP Plant, MVP OEE, and MVP Reliability) under a single, integrated platform name: MVP One
